New Autumnlands Art

Grayson Fogg has just added three new pieces to his Etsy shop (https://www.etsy.com/shop/TheAutumnlands?), with a new color piece coming on the 31st of this month, at the EHAG Emporium (http://ehagemporium.blogspot.com/). These pieces are smaller and simpler, making them more affordable for those looking for some spooky art without the usual fine art price tag. This will be an ongoing series, so be sure to check back for more updates.Autumn 2 cb 001Autumn 4 cb 001autumn 1 cb 001

Deja Vu piece

I recently added a cover image of my witch character (from years ago), Deja Vu, from the comic of the same name, to the work I have available through Fine Art America ( http://fineartamerica.com/featured/flying-high-richard-moore.html ).deja vu cover pink top While I was looking for some unrelated artwork (I know it’s hard to imagine a disorganized artist, but trust me, I’m good at it), I happened upon some very early character designs for Deja. I was obviously very influenced by Disney and other animated films at the time (look at that face! jeez!), and envisioned the books to feature lots of cool, fluid flying scenes. It wound up being much more quirky and gritty, and obviously the design changed a lot. But shape-shifting familiar  ‘Wulf is probably relieved that we never got to see him in his poodle form.early deja design 001early deja design2 001

Oops…

Somehow, when I get overworked, the creative output of my friend and fellow artist, Grayson Fogg, slows way down. Strange. But both of us have been remiss in some updates. One was his entry in the January EHAG Emporium. It’s entitled “Sunset with Oliver” (Oliver is the cat, if I understand right), and as always is available at https://www.etsy.com/shop/TheAutumnlands .Sunset with Oliver redux 001 (3)

Web Comic

Hello all. I’m terrible at the self-promotion thing, but right now I’ve got something that costs you nothing and means a lot to me. I’ve entered a web comic contest, and if you’d just follow the link and vote for me (if you like the story), I’d appreciate it. And if you feel like hounding two or three dozen of your friends to do the same, hey, who am I to begrudge you that pleasure? The strip is called “Billfur”, and it’s about an adorable platypus lost in an American forest–who can resist a face like that? It’s basically like a Pixar animated film on paper, broken up into web comic chapters. Anyway, here’s the link… http://www.webtoons.com/challenge/episodeList?titleNo=3384  Thanks.

More Dead…

Here’s a couple more pages from Creep’s End, the unfinished masterpiece… Weirdly enough, I’m currently doing some fine art pieces based on this world and its inhabitants.creeps pg.8 001creeps pg.9 001
